With 19 years experience, we have seen just about any imaginable party out there and are here to help. Planning your child’s party or event can be easier than you think! What happens during a show?

The character makes a dramatic entrance to theme music, which we bring, and for birthdays quickly identifies the birthday child to make them feel extra special right away.

Next, the performer will perform the first option. Let's say it's the magic show. The Performer will sit the kids down in an area and perform several tricks and mix it with comedy to keep them entertained.

Next, the performer performs the second option. Let's say it's games. The kids go outside or in a very large room and the performer brings out a huge colorful parachute, which the kids hold onto one of the handles and the performer plays a few games with the kids. "Popcorn" is a favorite, where the performer places a stuffed animal in the middle of the parachute while all the kids wave the parachute, making the stuffed animal pop around like popcorn. The kids try to keep the animal on the parachute. Then one or two more games are played.

Next, the third option is performed if the party is a non-hooded mascot character. If the party is with a hooded mascot character, the pizazzer changes into the costume and makes another entrance to theme music for the remainder of the performance. If the party is with a performer in costume that can perform options (such as a superhero, princess, pirate or pizazzer), then the third option is performed. Say it is face painting. The performer will ask each child what they would like on their cheek or hand and either use safe professional face paints or temporary tattoos of what the child would like, their choice.

And then, if cake is being served, the character can stay for the cake celebration and presentation of a birthday gift to put a great end to a unforgettable day.

Do you need any equipment for the event?

Kids Party Productions trained performers bring almost everything that we need to perform and rarely need any setup time. If face painting is chosen as an option, we will need a table or portion of a table and one or two chairs.

How far in advance should we book an event?

Some weekends are busier than others so you may want to book several weeks before your event, but sometimes we have openings a day before your event, call us for availability. 

How much room do you need for your shows?

That really depends on the number of kids you're expecting at the party. Usually from our experience a normal sized living room with all the furniture moved to sides will be enough for fewer than twenty kids. If you're expecting over twenty kids you might want to consider the backyard.

Do you have a guarantee?

Each performer has completed a training program by a 19-year veteran children's entertainment performer, which provides a top-quality performance at your event.  We believe that you and your guests will thoroughly enjoy the performance.

Our employees go through a very thorough hiring process when they join Kids Party Productions and remember - having fun is a TOP priority of ours and it shows in our performances!   Each performer has the right equipment needed to deliver a top-notch performance.  They will work hard to make your party or event the best ever.  Each performer utlizes a professional costume, insuring the highest quality appearance the children's entertainment industry can offer.  Our many years of experience backs up our performances and costumes.  We clean all of our costumes after use each week, we work hard to look good for you and your guests!  This costume maintenance is why it costs an additional $15 to reserve a character for your event.

Each perfomer is instructed on emergency procedures... if their car breaks down, if they are in an accident, or if they get hurt, they will immediately call the client and explain the situation.  Next, they notify the office.  In the event that a problem occurs beyond the control of Kids Party Productions, causing a party no-show, we stand behind our integrity and will reimburse your deposit immediately.  Additionally, you will receive Funny Money in the amount to cover a FREE performance at anytime you choose within a one year time period.  We value your patronage.

In case of severe weather, we may request to reschedule your event to ensure the safety of our performers, who may be traveling a great distance to get to your event.  You may reschedule to any date within one-year.  If you do not wish to reschedule, your party will be fully refunded.

Deposit and Payment Information

We require a $50 deposit to reserve a 30 minute performance, a $75 deposit for a 1 hour performance, and a $100 deposit for a performance 90 minutes or longer. The deposit is required at time of booking to reserve your space and time.

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, money order, or check. No party will be reserved until the deposit has been received. If paying by check, the balance must be paid in-full at least one week prior to the event.  If full payment is not received in time, the remining balance must be paid in cash or over the phone by credit/debit card. For all other methods of payment, the remaining balance is due the day of the party.  We no longer accept personal checks at the party- payment must be made in cash or charged to a credit or debit card. If your event is a corporate party, we will accept payment by check on the day of the event.  Checks may be mailed to P.O. Box 890257, Weymouth, MA 02189.

What about emergencies or inclement weather?

Should your child become sick, hurt, or a dangerous weather event occurs, you may move your party to another date within one year without penalty.  You may take advantage of this rescheduling once.  If you require a second date change, there will be a $30 rescheduling fee.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation requested at least seven (7) days prior to the event will be refunded the deposit minus a $10 processing fee. If you cancel your party less than seven (7) days prior to the event, the deposit will not be refunded. Any event cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the party will be charged the full amount. Exception: in case of a severe weather event or illness, the party may be moved to a different date (see more information above.)
